Little prelude to Rose (aka Redd) arriving in game
[NOTE: This is an AU version of Redd, pre-book. This is before she ever got a chance to go mad and kill her mother to take over the throne. In this AU the Queen and King managed to get her out of Wonderland before she was able to get her revenge on them for removing her from succession]
Redd was being marched through the gardens, her long brightly colored hair flying out behind her. She was arguing with a pair of guards who were tight lipped at her protests. "Oh come on guys, this is silly." She may have been attempting to talk her way out of a banishing, but she was all smiles as she did. Chuckling every so often, because really the shear stupidity of it all was rather amusing. "They're not serious, come on now." She said, looking over her shoulder at the guards before sighing and rolling her eyes at them.
Getting annoyed at their lack of communication, she finally stopped walking. Standing there with her back to them. "I'm not moving until you speak to me damn it, i'm not some wicked women of the streets." Her stance was that of a sullen teenager, which really was what she was acting like.
When one of the two men muttered for her to move, she just shook her head. Which caused one of them to give her a little nudge on the shoulder which made her stumble forward a bit. She paused, silence hung in the air dangerously. "Shove me again, and it will be the last thing you ever do." Her voice was low and evil, and sent shivers down the spine of anyone around.
But none the less, after a moment she began to walk again. It was so stupid, Redd was in total and complete disbelief. How could she be banished from Wonderland? How could her own parents do such a thing? And why didn't her horrible little sister not stop him from sending her away? The thought of her sister caused anger to flare up in her soul, Genevieve would pay for what she did. That was one thing Redd swore too.
Being lost in her thoughts she hadn't even noticed that they had arrived at the looking glass that sat in the middle of the hedge maze in the garden. Looking at it, she shook her head. "I'm not going." She turned to face the guards, glaring at them. "And neither one of you two lowly little miscreants can make me!" At her affirmation, the men just smirked. "Don't you smile at me! Or i will make sure you are headless by the end of the day!" She threatened, stomping her foot a little.
Looking at each other, the two guards shrugged before leaning forward and shoving Redd through the portal. She shrieked as she toppled out of the looking glass and onto the floor of a dorm room on the other side of the glass. With a huff she stood up quickly, staring at the men through the mirror. "You just signed your death warrant!" She cursed them, as her things were tossed through the portal as well. She had to move aside rather fast to miss being hit by her luggage. "You're dead, all of you" She said evilly as she glared through the glass, watching the guards laugh at her before her world slowly faded away and all she was left with was her own reflection staring back at her. "Fuck!!" She yelled angrily, kicking the mirror causing it to shatter around her. Standing there amongst broken glass, Redd breathed heavily her fists clenched at her side. They'd pay, they'd all pay one day....
